Foundation Trick!

Since it's starting to warm up in most places, I'm here to share a little tip/trick for your foundation. Turn your medium to full coverage foundation into a lightweight version of its self! After applying your skincare routine, spritz Mac's Fix+ over your your face. Then lightly spritz a duo fibre foundation brush (I use Sigma's F50). Dab your foundation over your face and blend. This will give a thicker foundation a lighter coverage. It's also great for a foundation that's hard to blend. It also gives you an almost airbrushed look.

Try it out, let me know what you think!

  1. How funny, I was just thinking today about blogging my new trick for thinning out foundation for summer! I spray a sponge with toner and then put the foundation on the sponge and apply :)

  2. Water works good as well! It's the same idea as a beauty blender. Dampen sponge, squeeze out extra water and blend in foundation. I've heard a lot about them lately, but I haven't tried one.
