OPI Femme De Cirque Swatches

REVIEW:

So Many Clowns...So Little Time: This is a creme nude colour. Pretty opaque in 3 coats, but I did 4 on these so that the colour difference was more visible.

Step Right Up: This is a light creme pink. Veryyyyyy similar in colour with 'So Many Clowns...So Little Time'. Once again, I did this in 4, so that the colour difference is more visible. Also pretty opaque in 3 coats.

In The Spot Light Pink: This is my favorite out of all of these. It's a baby pink creme, but it is very sheer. This is done in 4 coats, and is still not fully opaque. It is nice for barely there nails, or for finishing a french tip mani. I really like it.

I Juggle...Men: This is a fine iridescent glitter top coat. It's very pretty, and would look beautiful over any colour. This is also pretty subtle, so I think it would be beautiful over a french mani aswell. Another favorite from this collection.

I only bought the mini's for this collection because I honestly didn't know if I would ever use them much. Generally I'm more of a brights person, so I think getting the mini's was a great choice. I think I might invest in a regular bottle of "I Juggle...Men" though, because it's soo nice. I love it.

China Glaze Island Escape Swatches!

Hi Guys!!
China Glazes' newest collection 'Island Escape' got released a bit early at my local Chatters! Sooooooooo, I ran out and got it today to swatch for you guys!!

 Just to let you guys know, these were such difficult polishes to take photos of. Maybe it could be that it is night time or something, but some of the colours came out darker and such.

DESCRIPTION AND REVIEWS:

Electric Pineapple: The nail wheel swatch is not very true to colour, however the picture of the bottle is (I also just added it on my nails, which is pretty good too). This colour is a yellow/light green creme, and it is opaque in two coats. It's really different, and I like it. I know I don't have anything like this in my collection, so it was a good buy.


Cha Cha Cha: I love it!! This is a green shimmer polish. You can see yellow and peachy gold in the shimmer when in the light, it is so gorgeous. It is opaque in three coats, but it can show brush marks which is it's only negative.

Blue Iguana: There is something so nice about this colour blue. This is a bold yale blue colour, with micro shimmer and what seems to be tiny micro sparkles. You can see flecks/shimmer of blue and purple when it is in the light. I don't know what but i'm loving all the blues lately.

Papaya Punch: Okay, so, it is a nice colour, but it's not good for my skin tone. I am very pale, so I think this would be better for a darker skin tone. Also, the nail wheel swatch is not true to colour. This was another one that was hard to capture. The colour is more like the bottle picture. It is a very bright and bold orange creme. Nice for the summer! Also, opaque in two coats.

108 Degrees: This is a berry pink with micro glitter. It was another hard one to swatch because it is a bit lighter than the nail wheel, and it also has was more shimmer than the camera was willing to show. I really like this colour, but it's not very unique. It looks alot like China Glazes' 'Ahoy!', but lighter. Opaque in three coats.

Senorita Bonita: This one is a medium purple colour (Barney purple!!), with micro glitter and shimmer. It's a really nice colour, and when under natural light, it shows pink glitter/shimmer. Once again, the camera didn't like the swatch so it came out darker and didn't show the shimmer it had to offer! Opaque in three coats.

Over all, I like this collection. I found every polish felt so nice after it dried, they were all so smooth. They were all great to work with, and had good formula, and my favorite polish out of all of them wasssssssssssssssss Senorita Bonita!

Swatches: Nicole By OPI - Justin Bieber Collection (Part 2)

Here is the second part of the 'One Less Lonely Girl' collection (by the way, I did NOT buy the whole collection). So, here are the swatches and reviews :)

Description and Reviews:

My Favorite Gold: This is an okay colour. It's a gold shimmer polish, with a hint of lime green. The picture doesn't really show the green, but it is there. It's a pretty sheer polish, even on the third coat it's not completely opaque. Honestly, I thought it would have been like 'Give Me The 1st Dance' which was pretty much perfect in the first coat.

Give Me The 1st Dance: Okay, so this is a silver foil polish, and it's awesome. It was basically opaque in just one coat, which mean's it's going to be awesome for Konad (woohoo!). It also dries pretty quickly too, which is a plus.

Fuchsia Wife: Glitter!! I Love this colour, although the camera didn't. It hardly even picked up on any of the colours this polish has to offer. It's a fuchsia colour with light pink/blue/red flakes of glitter. The glitter is pretty subtle on the nail, but in sun light it's really pretty. My only complaint is that it's not as opaque as I thought it would have been. My swatch is three coats, and it's still not perfect. I'm thinking a fourth one would do the trick.

My Lifesaver: This is a turquoise/Tiffany blue creme colour. Opaque in two coats, but I went with 3 just to be safe. Honestly, did I need this polish? No. The only reason I bought it was to swatch it for you guys :) Actually I bought it to so I could do a comparison of My Lifesaver to China Glazes 'For Audrey', which will be up in the next few days!

The only Bieber polish I wanted but couldn't get was 'Make U Smile", which I plan on getting at some point of time.

 Description and Reviews:
Me + Blue: I love love love this colour! This polish is yale blue in colour, with holographic glitter. When in day light and bright lighting you can really see the holo glitter. It's beautiful! The formula is really thick, so it gives great coverage. It's fully opaque in two coats, although one thing that should be noted is that it's really bumpy when it's fully dried, but nothing some seche vite won't fix.

"Baby" Blue: Exactly as it says. Baby blue. It' a really nice light blue creme colour. It's perfectly opaque in two coats, and the formula is really smooth. There really isn't anything that special about the colour, I just bought it beause I don't have a baby blue in my collection.

I'm A Belieber: I love purple! This is a light/medium purple creme colour. It's also a nice formula, but it's takes three coats to be fully opaque. You couldddd go with two, but you might be pushing your luck.

One Less Lonely Glitter: One of my favorites!! I love glitter so much. This is fully opaque in three coats, and it is sooooooo nice. It's a thick formula with purple (maybe lilac?) glitter. The glitter in this bottle is amazing. So many different sizes. You really need to put a top coat of this one too (seche vite would be best). The glitter is so dense in this one, if you don't put on some top coat, it will feel like sand paper, ahaha.

I Pink I Love Him: Sooooooo disappointing. Judging from the bottle I thought it would have been like One Less Lonely Glitter, but it's not... at all. It's just a sheer pink formula with small pink glitter. I guess you could use it over another polish to liven it up a little but, honestly, I wouldn't waste the money. Make sure the formula dries all the way before applying another coat, or else the glitter will drag. (I found this polish didn't dry very quickly either).


Top Of My World: This is an iridescent glitter polish. Formula is a bit thick, which I like. It's really pretty, and it would look beautiful over any colour. I really want to try it out on purple or black. This is a layering polish.

I'm planning on putting the rest of my watches up either tomorrow or the next day. So, stay tuned!! :)

Review: Flaunt Beauty Palette

About a month ago, while wasting time on a lunch break, I decided to check out Icing by Claire's selection of make up and brushes. I really needed a new blending brush for concealer (works wonders! I'll post more about it soon).  A few things had caught my eye previously, but I was a little skeptical of the quality. Lets face it, we've all bought some pretty crappy things from Claires! I walked in and was greeted with "All our make up products are buy one, get one half off" I knew I had picked the right day!  Immediately, the cute packaging caught my eye.  I'm a sucker for anything vintage/pinup. The first palette I picked up was Flaunt Beauty in Smoke Screen, for the life of me I can't remember any of the other ones after I saw the colours this palette featured.

It came with four eyeshadow, a little sponge tipped applicator with a mirrored cover. The eyeshadow are the same size as a MAC eyeshadow for those of you familiar with them. From left to right, you have Champagne (I'm a champagne fiend!), Silk, Charcoal Black, and Fog in the City.  Champagne is comparable to Lancome's Cream Luster (my all time favourite shadow). Silk is a wonderful natural highlight colour for those of us with the gift of ghost. The Charcoal Black is a great matte deep grey colour, perfect for a "classy" smokey eye. Fog in the City is comparable to MAC's Satin Taupe, which is another staple for me. All these colours have great pay off and last through out the day. For a palette that cost me 8.99 Canadian, it is beyond worth it. I've used at least one shadow from this quad every day since purchase. It has the cutest packaging and would be great for your travel make up bag or to just keep in your purse!
